Luxury Homes in The Costa del Sol

Strolling along the promenade and admiring the yachts as they sail by is just one of the many ways to spend a day along the Costa del Sol. Nowhere can you find a lovelier place to live than Marbella, where residents love to splash their cash and in the ocean.

Marbella
The glamorous town of Marbella is one of the favorites among frequent visitors as an enchanting seaside place facing a lovely bay. It has resided at the foot of the Sierra Blanca for centuries, never once losing its old-world charm. Only 40 minutes away from Malaga’s airport by car, it’s easily accessible, and you’ll love the scenic drive there.

Though the town may seem like another quaint whitewashed place, there’s plenty to do in the lively village. The Plaza de Los Naranjos (orange tree square) is in the heart of the old quarter hailing from the 16th and 17th centuries. You’ll find an excellent selection of art galleries and traditional craft shops with locally made tchotchkes. There is also a street market in Nueva Andalucia Saturday mornings for all of your shopping needs.

If you’re feeling outdoorsy, there are multiple golf courses to choose from, marinas, and breathtaking beaches.

When the sun is scorching, you can cool off in the Contemporary Spanish Engraving Museum, which boasts prints made by famous artists like Picasso and Dali. Or, grab a cup of coffee and sit in the shade, watching the people go by.

You don’t have to go far; it’s all in the city’s downtown area. Drop by the designer boutiques and interior design stores if you want to make a splash like the rich and famous. Make sure that Avenida Ricardo Soriano and Avenida Ramon y Cajal are on your map since they’re the streets with the top shops. Plus, if all that spending leaves you weary, you can stop in one of the cute cafes or restaurants peppering the streets.

Life After Dark
When the sun finally dips below the glistening horizon, it may be getting late, but it’s certainly not time for shuteye yet! The glittering nightlife is just waking up. The old quarter’s tapas bars come to life, as do other restaurants, discos, casinos, and even cinemas in the marina. Places on the beach that you saw as chiringuitos when the sun was up turn into chic restaurants by night.

You can try the famous Olivia Valere nightclub in the Golden Mile if you’re feeling lucky. No need to splurge on drinks in fancy clubs; you can bring the party to the beach and dance on the sand with a drink in your hand! You should be ready to be up late since most clubs don’t open before 11 PM or midnight.

While nightlife peaks during the long hot days of summer, there’s never a dull moment when you’re out looking for a place to let loose. You can always find live music, a cold drink, and plenty of fun-loving people who will ensure you have a great time. Luxury Homes in The Costa del Sol.
